Piano Music No.7

The group Piano Music No.7 consists of 5 compositions - a,b,c,d and e.

This group of compositions was aimed towards introducing near diatonic areas into a chromatic framework consequently they should have a more familiar feel to them.

Piano Music No.7c - subtitled ' The River Pilot' is dedicated to the composer's father William Joseph Lennox.

The mid section of this composition from page 8 and the ending can be considered amongst the most expressive of the composer's work for piano.

Piano Music No.7d is a particularly dramatic piece where the change and development in harmony defines a natural rhythmic form.
