Piano Music No.16 is a recently completed composition, though it takes its line of development from a series of compositions in the Piano Music No.15 composed in the mid 1990s and to some extent the Piano Music No.22 group composed in the late 1990s.

Piano Music No.16 uses a full opus number and consists of an introduction and 3 movements and a full performance will be just under an hour. As this is a major composition it attempts to take the composers style and control of harmony to another level.

The composer specializes in Finales and considers the Finale of Piano Music No.16 one his best - and possibly the best of any Piano Music.
