Piano Music No.5 consists of a group of 4 compositions 5a,5b,5c and 5d.

These compositions were central to the development of the notational form and the compositional technique.

Piano Music No.5b is a particularly good example of how the melodic forms in the Developed Performance Notation (DPN) is spread over the whole piano. This composition contains some attractive melodies and is recommended as a composition to get to grips with the DPN. It is a concise composition of 14 pages.

Scores are available in A3, recommended to allow for broad expression in the performance.

Piano Music No.5c concentrates on the development of rhythmic forms.

Piano Music No,5d was lost when the composer was robbed in Belize City and it has not been possible to locate a copy or notes on the composition.
