Baseball is the National sport of the US - it has its own World-Series which other nations have no part in - but if it wanted to organise a true World Championship of Baseball - it would shudder at the likely consequences - because it can see from the position of England in football; that once a locally invented national sport becomes a world organisation then the originators are continually biased against.
Those forces may be an attempt to broaden the World view of the sport, but in that process it takes on the process of undermining the inventor's rights.
This can be seen perfectly in the continued historical bias of Sepp Blatter against England - culminating in him ordering the voting committee not to vote for England.
This is not a recent position Blatter has given the leadership of FIFA by Haveloge who managed to force out Stanley Rouse the President of FIFA who wrote the rules of the modern game. Blatter has never stopped trying to undermine Rouse's historical position.
It is on this basis that NewSport is promoting the immediate organisation of an Elite World Cup with a Stanley Rouse Trophy proposed for 2015 in England and 2019 in the U.S.
The essence of NewSport is to protect the inventor's rights, and those who have tried to take over an invention for their own financial gain will be barred from using that name and should define another game.
Over the recent years FIFA have been in the process of changing the nature of the game - reducing it to a game of penalties - they should carry on this process and find another name for it, because just as the US invented Baseball and it is their game, England and Scotland invented football and they have the rights in law to use that name and to use that name for an Elite Football World Cup.
