Looking at the list of compositions and the world class studios WTL has been resident in for long periods the independent reader may wonder wy there have been no broadcasts on the BBC.

The Composer has a letter from the BBC banning the presentation of his compositions for broadcast - this was from Hans Keller head of music in the 1970's and 80's. The composers response was to write to Keller challenging him to rebroadcast his spoof program on New music where he broadcast random sounds - portraying his ant- New Music stance, with the implication that the BBC would be served notice of unlawful provocative action.

Keller dually responded and rebroadcast the program within 2 months. While I was preparing support for the case, a more powerful exponent of the English language from the US wrote a blistering and devastating attack on Keller for the repeat broadcast - Keller died 6 months later.

In the new regime a certain Digby Jacks invited the composer to present some compositions with a view to programming - he obliged and Jacks showed interest and chose some 3 compositions for broadcast- then at the end of the meeting he started talking about the fact that the composer lived in Cleveland Street W1 making a direct reference to a famous scandal of the 19th century - this was a totally unacceptable and showed explicitly what the BBC was famous for at the time in the entertainment field.

The composer is still waiting for a apology and the implementation of the broadcast.
